Dr Amrutha Ann Paul Malamel
Amrutha has been working as a dentist after qualifying the Overseas
Registration Exam in the UK. She moved away from general dentistry to pursue her interest in Periodontics.
She graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India in 2009 and was motivated by her two sisters who are dentists and work in the USA. She continued her education and obtained a Masters in Periodontics (MDS) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India in 2014.
She furthered her dental training in the UK by obtaining MFD from the
Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland (2016) and completed her Foundation training (PLVE) at Nottingham (2019). She is a member of British Society of Periodontology and is currently refining her skills in Dental Implants and has a PG Certificate in Dental Implantology.
She provides surgical and non-surgical treatment for gum disease and is passionate about renewing her patient’s confidence and a general
improvement in oral hygiene.
Amrutha practices with an empathetic, caring, and holistic approach. It
is common feedback that the most anxious patient feels at ease.
In her spare time, she enjoys keeping fit, travelling, cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family.
