Month 5: Start Of November
This month I went to the dentist for a check-up, Dr Hughes told me everything was fine with my teeth, all my attachments were still present and no work was needed so I wasn’t there long.
My teeth have been straightening well and they have changed a lot since I started, I am very happy that I made the choice to have Invisalign treatment, and so far, everything has been going very well.
I have just started the eleventh set so I am a bit early (because I should be on the tenth) this is because if you remember I had to go onto the next set when I lost one of them last month. Changing sets still for the most part doesn’t hurt however I have been wearing them less this month because I have had a lot of sport competitions in the past couple of weeks including a swimming gala which I was at for a whole day and because I had a race every twenty minutes I didn’t have enough time to put them back in so I didn’t wear them that day. Because of this I have been changing them less frequently (wearing them more than the 10 days) in order for my teeth to straighten out fully into the shape of that set – this is slightly annoying because after a while of wearing the aligner’s they get slightly discolored even after cleaning them.
However, this only happens after around twelve days of wearing them, so it doesn’t make a difference usually. Apart from the dentist visit nothing much has happened this month regarding my Invisalign so goodbye for now.
